GRANNY’S BUTTERMILK BISCUITS WITH TE SPREADS

Ingredients

3 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1/3 cup oil
1 cup buttermilk
TE spreads

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease medium-sized cast iron skillet. Mix all dry ingredients together until well blended. Mix in oil and buttermilk.

Stir until well-blended and sticky. Pour batter out on floured surface, knead and slowly, sprinkle with flour until no longer sticky. Roll until 1/2 inch thick.

Using a biscuit round, cut biscuits and place into skillet.

Bake until golden brown (about 20-25 minutes).
